  • I can't believe the Bears let Smith go. They won 10 games this year, and were right on the edge of making the playoffs. The only problem with the team is that the offense wasn't very good, but with all of the offensive minded coaches being let go today that could have easily been changed. It would have been great to see Whisenhunt running the Bears O.
    Instead, one of the other six teams that fired a coach today will end up with a good HC when they hire Smith. If I'm the Bills I think he is the first call I make.

    ESPN is reporting it as a "record setting" day of coaching changes. I still think there may be more to come. These teams need to get on the ball with hirings though. It won't be long before the good candidates are snatched up.

    Im interested in what is going to happen with the college ranks.....This should cause several unexpected openings...
