It feels so good to have a terrific defensive coaching staff coming on board. With that said I am so excited to have a head coach that has an offensive background - it's been 14 years. You need defense to win but with the best defense in the world if you can't perform on offense the best outcome will be a 0-0 tie. Merry Christmas to everyone.

I agree could not go through another year offensively like we did last year. Most of the time I prayed in my end zone seats that we would return a kick off, pick off a pass, or recover a fumble deep in the other teams territory and maybe get lucky to get a TD or kick a field goal. I am pumped about the offensive and defensive possibilities for this next year and the future.

i agree with having an offensive minded coach finally. but i would disagree with the defense onlyequalling a 0-0 tie. i remember a time in auurn history against LSU where the offense was horrible and showed no signs of life. single handedly the defense returned 4 Defensive touchdowns to win the game. so defense can win without offense. of course it doesn't to have an opposing coach who is an idiot. 1994 Buster Brown was the coach
