$12,000,000 plus!

It blows my mind that if we go through with firing Chizik and staff that we will have paid out well over $12,000,000 in coaching buyouts in 4 years. This during a recession with massive unemployment while residing in one of the poorest states in the U.S. That just ain't right! The entire administration should be ashamed for letting this happen.

In all seriousness if this is true, firings should include up to Dr Gogue since he would have had to approve this. Sure we won a NC, but they are paid very well to avoid making big-time decisions like this emotionally in the hype of accomplishment. You would expect some fans to make a decision like this in Feb. of 2011 if granted the power for a day, but not professional executives. This is just poor, poor management. Period.

Have you noticed Auburn University during home games? Does it look like Auburn is
feeling a recession? Massive unemployment? Poorest states? Heavens no. It is building
like we are in a boom economy.
Remember this: you and I are paying those buyouts in the form of ticket purchases and
contributions. This is ridiculous management and the AD should be fired for such poor
leadership.

Go to 2 BCS bowls and you make that 12M up quickly
As it stands, you lose a lot more going 3-9 than you do firing and old coach and hiring a new one at this point
