So.....The "news" on Leonard Williams wasn't true. Both his coaches confirmed this fact. But yes, we missed out on both of our "across the country" recruits. It happens when you try to pull a really good kid that far from home. Iowa wasn't a bad choice for Kozan. They put a lot of OL in the league. I can't say I blame him past the snow/girls/weather/proximity to the beach. I couldn't do it, but good for him.

Another bammer amoung us.

...and you don't think the coaches are putting plenty of effort into landing Leonard Williams? They can't live at the kid's house dude. I always find it amusing when people with little to no information make statements like yours about how the coaches should do this or do that

Too bad Auburn doesn't realize the untapped expertise here on the message boards...I say we fire the entire coaching staff and hire a few posters from AUC...we'll never lose another game and we'll get every recruit we want!

THe op made a statement and then got shouted down for being a "bammer". Funny. Typical of the boards now a days. I remember when we first came over here to 247....The original AUC didnt have this type of issue. WHY NOW.

Yea I hate the voting system. I got in an argument with someone a while back that said he uses the voting system based on whether or not he agrees with someone. so, in other words, if he didn't agree with someone's opinion he gave them a downvote. I told him he was an idiot.

Either way, I feel bad for the OP here. he didn't even say anything negative. In fact, his entire OP was completely true and he was even hoping to things got better on signing day. Not sure where I see the need for a DV marathon on the kid.

Because everyone is so darn negative. Grow some testicles and expect the best. It's not that big of a deal to have an opinion, but geez, does everything have to be so negative. If we don't finish with a top 10 class is it going to be the end of the world? Are your bills going to go unpaid? Is your family's health going to deteriorate? Is your car going to break down? Trust the coaches to get the most out of the players they sign. If they do, then we will be successful (that goes for any star rating). So many put their self worth in what the updykes and teabaggers do. If they sign a top 5 class, well AU better too. If uat-bag gets a five star, well AU had too. WE ARE NOT uat-baggers! Auburn University will forever be superior! IF you don't get that, then go root for another team. I love Auburn because it's Auburn, not for football. Auburn has given me more than I can ever give Auburn.

I see nothing wrong with the OPs post. He just stating we are 0-2, which we are and that he hopes the news on Lenoard Williams gets better on Wednesday.

He post isn't doom and gloom. He doesn't claim the recruit class is lost. He is simply stating 2 facts and 1 opinion and gets downvoted.......

If you are not a sunshine pumper as the term seems to be flying around, you are a bammer. That makes zero sense, that an AU fan cannot critcize what he think is important. That is what is great about being a fan. No we are not the coaches, no we do not have the full story. That's what is great about a discussion board that some "Threads" are mature and reasonable and some are shot down.

Now if he had come on here and said our recruiting class is failing, and Wednesday not going to be any better, and this doesn't look good, and OMG THE WORLD IS FALLING, then sure that's a little much.

Although i did not agree with your opinion, I gave you an up vote because you did not deserve the down votes. I got down votes for responding to you and I am not sure what I said to deserve them either, go figure. I just responded on the reality of commits to scholarships offered. I do think that the coaches have put in all the time they can with the local kids and they can't spend anymore money on them or that no money was wasted going after these other recruits.
