‘The decision is a lot harder’

4-star safety and Georgia commit Tray Matthews visited Auburn again Saturday.

  • Trey just remember this Grantham > VanGorder. And Lakatos >>>>>>>> Willie. All Auburn can offer you is a bag of money because we all know in order for them to win any games they gotta buy their players!! Why you think your boy Reuben flipped!! I mean flip from Bama to Auburn come on man that's crazy and I hate both of them!

  • He's going to be a Dawg. Sorry cheaters.

  • It's hard to stomach these kids who commit and say they are all dawg. Only to crawfish on their word. There is no honor among thieves. If this kid flips to auburn, I'm done with this. All these early commits are meaningless.

  • since when did Mo Adams commit to Auburn???

  • It appers we're about to let a lot of top end talent get out of the state again. Foster, Lawson, Adams?, the LB from S.Gwinnett. If Trey flips this is starting to get pathetic...

  • If your not 100% committed to the dawgs then get lost!!!

    CORNDAWG

  • Remember, an Auburn staff writer wrote this. Obviously it is going to come off overwhelmingly positive for them.

Posts like this really chap my ass. Do you really think our coaches are not busting their tails on the recruiting trail? At the end of the day, the decision rests with the kid. What is pathetic is thinking that anyone is letting these kids leave...

  • Anyone who wants to go to Auburn should go. I hope that he gets paid as much as the others. You just need to go back to when Florida took that monster class with 4 of the top 10 players in the nation - results = NOTHING....the problem is getting to much ego. But in Auburn's case they need to double up because Dee Liner and Lawson look to be on their way out before they get in based on the attitude we have seen.

I would let the season play out - If I was a parent I would be looking at where my son will be given the best opportunity to succeed in the field, class room, and life. That would not be Auburn.

we need to get an early signing period that way kids either commit and sign early and are locked in. That protects them and the school. Or they sign in the later phase but either way - you commit early and sign early. They should allow on NSD to be signing day for the current class and be early signing day for the next class.

Then you won't have as many early commits or you will have kids locked in with a REPERCUSSION for just flipping around. If they don't know they don't need to commit. If they commit they need to be held responsible.

  • If trey wants to go to auburn and lose to our dawgs four years in a row . . . So be it. As time goes by it seems to me that his leadership skills are insufficient. I would love for him to be a dawg, but it seems to me that he is more concerned with what everyone of his contemporaries is doing than progressing on his own path.
