HOOVER - Led by first-teamers Philip Lutzenkirchen and Corey Lemonier, nine Auburn players were named to preseason All-Southeastern Conference teams Thursday by reporters covering Media Days.

Defensive end Corey Lemonier
Lutzenkirchen was the tight end and Lemonier one of four defensive linemen chosen on the first team. Senior Onterio McCalebb was chosen at two positions. He was the second-team return specialist and a third-team running back.
Sophomore center Reese Dismukes and junior punter Steven Clark were second-team selections.
Senior cornerback T'Sharvan Bell, kicker Cody Parkey, junior defensive end Nosa Eguae and senior wide receiver Emory Blake were chosen on the third team.
With 10 selections overall, Auburn was behind only LSU (13) and Alabama (12) among SEC teams.
The Tigers didn't get as much respect in the preseason order of finish. They were picked to finish fourth in the West. LSU was picked No. 1, followed by Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Texas A&M, Mississippi State and Ole Miss.
In the East, Georgia was picked first, followed by South Carolina, Florida, Missouri, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Kentucky.
LSU was picked to win the overall championship.
