I don't really understand the commitment process in college basketball. Isn't there an early signing period? If a commit doesn't sign an LOL then, do they have to wait until another date later in the year to sign an LOL? If someone would be kind enough to clarify this for me, I would really appreciate it.

There's an early signing period in November and a spring signing period in April. Recruits can sign in either period.
