We really have no lack of depth on the line as much as we just have no one locked into their positions due to experience. Robinson and Dismukes seem to be the only two unquestioned starters at this point at left tackle and center with the other three spots in the air.
As for Ricardo, I would trade playmakers for receivers who can just come down with the ball. We need some guys to step up and catch the ball behind Blake, that seems to be where our problems have lied. Burns was a good blocker and pretty good at catching the football. He was a good 2 or 3 receiver for us and we need to find a couple more like that.

I would be interested to see a recap of how highly the guys from the last two classes were ranked at their position, and compare that with how they have performed with relation to the other guys at their position at Auburn.
I think some had Kozan as the number two guard and Christian was also about that high.

We have a TON of depth on the O-line...I think you meant experience. As I recall quite a few years back, we went to the swamp with three true freshman OL and beat the Gators during the time when they were a very good team. And with the way these kids come college-ready into camp these days, IMO I don't think it's totally impossible for a few to step in and play well.

This is good, well, it's very good!
When the conversation about above par performance includes new arrivals, it's indicative that AU is progressing toward having the offense ready. I still say that the systematization of this new offense will go into around the third week because "the real game" is the ultimate catalyst for solidifying an offense.

The best part is that our coaches have OPTIONS now. As opposed to previous years when there was little choice.

Not this year, barring injury, but I think there's a very good chance he's a stater at some point in his career. He would have been No. 6 on my list.

J. Wallace will turn out to be a stud. Got a feeling he'll be one of those diamond in the rough stories at QB. The type that usually ends up at Troy or Jax St and we always wonder how he didn't sign with AU or Bama because he's better than we both have at QB.

i know the guy you are talking about in regards to screwing up the letters in that cheer. he's from my hometown. no way, should he have had the microphone! it was pretty funny at the time. i'm glad he was in school at auburn so we could give the boy a proper education lol.

I think everyone we have on the Oline can step in and take over if anyone got hurt without missing a beat. This is an area I feel like we are either on equal footing with Alabama or a bit better than them.
