I'll check to be sure but I think his clock started when he started at EMCC. His first year can count as redshirt, he'll lose a year this fall and then have three to play three starting in 2012.

I am pretty sure, regardless of whether the school has a team or not, you burn a year. One year of eligibility is one year of eligibility.

I say that because, even though I didn't play football in college, I can't go back now and expect to have four years of eligibility. Whether you use it or not, it still counts.

When he played say 6'4" 230 and maybe 4.7. This is a guy we need to pull for, even if he struggles getting back into playing shape. He faced so much tragedy off the field and still was a top 12 player. He had Jefferies type talent, hopefully he'll get back to that.

He's a real Auburn man through and through. Now, he just needs to qualify!

This speaks well for our coaching staff. A lot of "schools" in the SEC would have passed on by JR but not our staff. Every scholarship is valuable to our program and this shows that AU coaches have their values in the RIGHT Place....and this fan base too. Makes me proud. Jeremy we are for you, man, all the way.
