TEXAS TE MAKES A SPLASH: 2013 tight end Christian Morgan from Prestonwood Christian Academy in Plano, Texas, was a standout at Auburn’s camp last week. Morgan, 6-foot-5 and 240 pounds, has several family connections to Texas but said his first-ever trip to Auburn was an eye-opener.
“It was great. I really liked it,” Morgan said. “It was a great experience meeting with the coaches. They have a real cool coaching staff. I enjoyed Auburn because I felt like it was a family and everybody is real humble and there’s no egos. They’re real welcoming.”
IN-STATE DB IMPRESSES SEC SCHOOL: Cornerback Lawon Debardelaben from Prattville (Ala.) High picked up early offers from Arkansas State and Rice, but could be close to picking up a coveted SEC offer from Kentucky following a strong camp performance.
