Rewind: Elite OT names top two

ELITE OT NAMES A TOP TWO: 4-star offensive tackle Avery Young from Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) High officially visited Georgia this weekend after previous trips to Auburn, Alabama and Florida. He will choose between Ohio State and Clemson for his final visit. Right now, two schools stand above the rest.

Young is a top OT target.

"Georgia and Auburn are my top two right now," Young told 247Sports, "but I don’t have a favorite at this point. I am going to wait until Signing Day to make my final decision."

COACHES FLOCKING TO SEE JENKINS: 4-star defensive end Jordan Jenkins from Harris County in Hamilton, Ga., is done with official visit and will be hosting a number of coaches for the final week of in-home visits before the start of the dead period.

Scheduled to visit Jenkins and his family this week are Florida coach Will Muschamp and four assistants Monday, Georgia coach Mark Richt Wednesday and Auburn coach Gene Chizik Thursday. Alabama assistant Kirby Smart is also expected to visit this week. Jenkins is planning to announce his decision at the Under Armour game on Jan. 5.

“Me and my dad are just now starting to write everything down for all the colleges," Jenkins told 247Sports, "and we are going to really sit down and really talk about everything later this week after all the coaching visits.
"After that my dad will put a top three out, and we will be good."

DIAMOND VISITS OHIO STATE, AUBURN NEXT: 4-star offensive tackle Jordan Diamond was on his first official visit to Ohio State this weekend. Diamond said the Buckeyes were “high” on his list after the trip but plans to go on all five visits before announcing a decision on Signing Day. His next visit will be to Auburn this weekend.

“After that I don’t have anything else planned, but I’ll take all five official visits,” Diamond told 247Sports. “I’m thinking about Wisconsin, Michigan, Arkansas, Miami, Michigan State and Iowa.”
