Rewind: D-end down to three

3-STAR DE HAS THREE FINALISTS: 3-star defensive end Gimel President from Wando in Mount Pleasant, S.C., has cut down more than a dozen offers to a top three and plans to visit all three schools before making a decision.

President may project as a DT in college.

“I have it down to a final three schools,” President told 247Sports. “They are Auburn, North Carolina, and South Carolina in no order. I don’t have a leader yet.”

President, 6-foot-4 and 250 pounds, plans to visit Auburn for the first time Friday, North Carolina Sunday or Monday and South Carolina within the next couple of weeks.

“I’m hoping that I make a decision either before school starts or sometime during the season,” President said. “It is up in the air if I will take any official visits or not.”

"We are going to back Alabama to stay for a few days," Goldman told ESPN. "We are also going back to Florida State, Auburn and Georgia. I am still open and looking at those 15 schools."

Goldman has accepted an invitation to play in the Under Armour All-America game in January.
