4-STAR OG READY TO TRIM HIS LIST: 4-star offensive guard Tyrone Crowder from Richmond in Rockingham, N.C., is preparing to trim an extensive list of offers to three schools. He then plans to officially visit his finalists before announcing a decision. Crowder visited Auburn for the first time July 14.
“They are a pretty good school. They are taking a good interest in me down there,” Crowder told 247Sports. “Auburn will probably be in the mix for me.”

4-STAR WR TAKING HIS TIME: 4-star wide receiver Laquon Treadwell from Monee in Crete, Ill., wants to hold off on a decision until he goes on most or all of his official visits. Michigan is his current leader but Treadwell wants to visit Michigan State, Auburn, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.
“That’s the one thing my head coach wants me to do. He said take all my visits to schools I want to see before I commit,” Treadwell told 247Sports. “He said he doesn’t want the attention of me committing and decommitting and seeing other schools. He wants me to wait until I see the right school and have the right school.”

FLORIDA STATE OFFERS AUBURN COMMIT: 3-star tight end Arshad Jackson from Lovejoy in Hampton, Ga., who committed to Auburn in May, picked up an offer from Florida State Tuesday. Jackson is still planning to visit other schools including Florida State, Florida, Tennessee and Ole Miss.
"I'm still 100 percent to Auburn. I'm still in love with Auburn. They've shown me the most love. FSU came through, but I'm still loyal to Auburn," Jackson told 247Sports. "This [FSU] offer is really big. It made me sit down and think about my decision."
