AUBURN COMMIT BACK IN ACTION: After being suspended for the first game of the season, 5-star defensive lineman Dee Liner was back in the starting lineup Friday helping Muscle Shoals to a 43-0 win over rival Russellville. The Auburn commitment finished with four tackles-for-loss and helped hold the Russellville offense to 137 yards.

Liner returned to the field Friday night.
“I think there are a lot of things that were out there and are still out there that didn’t happen,” Muscle Shoals coach Scott Basden told the TimesDaily. “It’s just a lot of innuendo. Like I’ve said from day one, he’s a good kid. He’s served his punishment. We’ve known that punishment from day one and we’re not going to talk about it anymore.”

4-STAR RB TAKING HIS TIME: Since decommitting from Oklahoma in July, 4-star running back Greg Bryant from American Heritage in Delray Beach, Fla., has taken his time with the recruiting process and plans to hold off on a decision until later in the process. Auburn remains one of his top schools.
“Auburn is like one of my top schools. I like them a lot,” Bryant told 247Sports. “I like their offense, the way their program is ran. It is a family up there.”

BIG OL PLANNING AUBURN OFFICIAL: 3-star offensive tackle Roderick Johnson, a teammate of Bryant at American Heritage, decommitted from Florida last month and is in the process of setting up his five official visits. Like Bryant, Johnson plans to take his time making a decision.
“I haven’t set up any of my officials yet,” Johnson told 247Sports. “I am working on it. I want to visit West Virginia, Auburn, Florida State, Ohio State, and probably Miami. It is pretty much those five schools and Florida that I am looking at.”
