Glad Coach didn`t let this drag on. If there is one thing you can say about Malzahn, he doesn`t let grass go. And as you said Phillip; it is better now than after NSD. We should be set for the long haul now.

Sorry not buying into the notion that great coaches are hired away from off the field non coaching positions. seems to me great coaches will do whatever is necessary to be "coaches" and spend their time honing their skills "ON THE FIELD". Lets be honest this is a stop gap move. Hate it for Gus but I'm sure he learned a good lesson from this escapade.

Fountain is a cool customer and probably a better recruiter than Bisaccia. He has been the recruiting administrator here the last few years for our top classes.

OK, I will be honest. This is 100 percent not a stopgap move. It's exactly what Malzahn originally intended to do before Bisaccia entered the picture. That's honest.
