Bammer wants a game manager not a playmaker. Also he is black, Bama doesn't have black QB's. Ask Star Jackson or the Sims kid that's over there. Zow might be the exception and he even split reps with Watts.

Respectfully disagree. I have seen him play a half dozen times over the last two years. Carver is multiple and not at all like CGMs offense. JJ is asked to make some reads presnap. His desicion making is on of the things I like best about him. He is still a little akward and still filling out his frame. His motion is a little loopy but he has the arm strenght to tighten his motion and not lose velocity. I think under a coach that is detail oriented JJ could be a very precise passer. He is not the run first qb that some seem to thibk he is. In fact he is much more effective in the pocket. Ive seen this kid many times in person and I would be thrilled to have him.

Dead on with your post^^^.... JJ can run and make things happen with his feet, but he doesn't like too.
