Coleman played in his first Auburn game.
Cancer survivor Shon Coleman played in his first Auburn game Saturday.
Shon we are inspired by you. War Eagle!
I had a tear in my eye when - listening to the game on radio - they announced Shon was coming into the game!! I truly remain convinced that Shon will continue to shine and get more playing time. As he gains that experience and confidence, would like to see him end up as an NFL draftee. That would be a great story and potentially one that could be made into a movie or documentary........that would be great! Go get them Shon.......the Auburn family was soooo happy to see you walk onto the field.
It's great to see Shon on the field and also glad to see Frazier play too.

BM: any ideas about why Shon and others do not show up on the Participation Report?
Very proud of Shon. War Shon Eagle!
What a blessing! True illustration of courage, determination and spirit!
Glad to see him on the field. Not trying to take away from this story and shon's time but what ever happened to eric mack?
Great to see Shon on the field Saturday. I know it was a big moment for him.
Now it would be even better to see these guys get in a SEC game with a lead this week !
Congratulations Shon. It is great to see you come all the way back and be on the playing field. Your determination, courage and dedication in this return is one of the best stories in Auburn athletics for me.
The whole Auburn Family has been following his struggle and adventure. We are happy and proud for his progress and for the continued support by AU Athletics. It is a great Auburn story. I look forward to the next chapters of this saga. WE Shon.
An earlier poster also asked this question - why doesn't the AU participation chart show Coleman - and Frazier - and Batten - and Diamond - and probably others on special teams? I have watched the game 3 times now, and I KNOW that these folks played, yet they don't show yet. Had this same problem last year and the year before, as well. I don't know who the 'statistician' is, but he/she needs to get their facts right before putting them out with a 'final' tag on them!! Bryan, can you check on this for us? I'm sure I'm not the only person on here who keeps up with stats for our games, and omissions like this really get on my LAST nerve! Help us! WDE!!!
Great story of dedication and perseverance.
