Lets hope he REALLY enjoyed his visit. In order for Auburn to continue winning anywhere close to this pace we will need some defense. As a lifelong Auburn fan, it really hurts to watch our defense in the first half of these games. Worst of all, I'm getting use to the porous, Doug Barfield-looking defense we play. We need a 5-star guy at every position and 2 at each corner.

Sounds like his mom is going into her opinion very "business like" which is what you want. Logical choice, Auburn is a great place for a son to grow, be taken care of, and also have a chance to be successful. I think given how much he was been to Auburn we have a great chance at getting this kid. He is a stud.

If UGA didn't have AJ Green they would have not scored as much. Our defense was in good position most of the time to make a play but not too many people can cover Green. The D is playing much better than the beginning of the year.

I have never thought Julio Jones was in the league with A J Greene but maybe I don't see it all. Does anyone have an opinion on our defense against uat's passing game. do you compare it at all with the UGA game??

Look around the SEC and all the 6'-5", 6'-6" receivers on most teams. This is the area Aub is having the trouble. Aub could have had a 6'-6" guy, Deandra Brown, but backed off thinking he would not qualify. He signed with Sou Miss. It changes the dynamics of playing CB and pass defence as most CB's are under 6'.

Deandre Brown's grades aren't the only reason Auburn and many other schools backed off during his recruitment.

Deandre has proven to be a real prima donna at Southern. He has incredible talent, but does not seem to have a good work ethic.

Don't get me wrong; AJ Greene is a tremendous receiver with a remarkable future awaiting him. But, the way I see it, he has a tendency to push off the DB just before the ball arrives and gets away with it! Julio Jones also seems to have that innate "ability".
Just the opinion of an ole' fart from the past!
