What you report is not the death scene that fans are seeing over basketball, and the entire athletic program failures of the past 12 months. Did the experience with Chizik over his last year so affect our capability to fairly judge a temporary stop in the pits. I read of CEO's who with the Auburn record in athletics would be immediately canned and replaced with brains. That isn't my experience with the business world. Execs of obviously failing business got bonuses for their lack of vision, but, that doesn't support our concepts thus is never mentioned. I admit it. I'm one not in the depths of dispair over the Athletic progams in fact, it looks to me like things in the world of major sports are certainly capable of getting much better than they have been. Well feelings winning over reality is not so strange in the world in which we live-a failing that cuts both ways.

Yes people over react on this site because they are passionate about all things Auburn. Execs get paid big time bonuses all the time regardless of how the company did, even if they do get fired they still get millions. Has the past year been bad for Auburn sports? Sure it has, but firing everyone involved in every sport and starting over just puts you behind even further most of the time. Some change was needed, some has happened, but the change that most people on here want would be bad.
