Not obligated but most do. I can't recall anyone taking a job and saying they wouldn't. However, it is common for new staffs to let some commits go if they don't feel like he's a good fit for the system they run. Usually, they just let the kid figure it out and decommit on their own to avoid the bad publicity.

Do you think there is any way that we get Trey Johnson or Jaquay Williams back after we hire a HC? I know the obvious answer would be "It depends on who we hire", which leads me to ask if there is a coach out there that we are looking at who might play to the recruits better than others in your opinion? TIA

I think it's doubtful with JaQuay, who can sign in a few weeks. There will be a chance with Trey, who still plans to visit and get to know the new coaches.

I've attended every Carver game for the past 2 years and I can tell you that Jeremy Johnson is definitely the real deal. I'd consider the recruit that we can least afford to lose. I believe that he can make a Cam-like impact for Auburn.
