Alabama doesn't need a kicker? Really? I'll never understand coaches that aren't willing to give a good kicker a scholarship. I've seen Auburn win dozens of games that would have been a loss without a good kicker. I've also seen a lot of games lost because of incompetent kickers. Same can be said for a punter.

I haven't asked but I doubt it makes much difference. You still want someone with a strong and accurate leg for FG's and KO's.
