While a lot of folks want a QB named after spring training, I want them to push each other to the limit. I want them to both improve enough to be able to step in, with little-to-no-dropoff, if an injury were to happen. I am really looking forward to seeing who rises up and takes the job!

I hope we go to the some type of pro-set and one of these four quarterbacks emerge as a accurate and a confident quarterback. I really
think that Pike will start. His height will give him better vision and i love the way he plants he his feet and drives the ball. It is like in basketball you get a pure shooter but can he play defense and handle the speed of the game. He looks like he can make the throws but how is he going to react to the speed of college football. I am also being told that the other quarterback recruit has faired well at camps that he has attended.

Heard Clints new roomate is Craig Sanders. Should be interesting to see how much more physical he will be this season. I'm not going to continue the ridiculous arguement of who is going to start. I would think we have two really good choices in Clint and Kiel and both want it. I also think people are not understanding what it takes to play at this level. Pike and Wallace are not even close and want be in the mix.

I don't care who the starters are at any position, as long as our coaches are confident that the 11 on the field are the very best we can put out there to be competitive. Clint is somewhat of a local boy for me, and I'm pulling for him. But if we can get to the BCS game starting walk-ons and waterboys I'll be ecstatic. In the words of Al Davis....."Just win, baby!" WDE

Frazier will have the leg up, but Moseley has a few starts under his belt - so this is tough to call. Having watched both of them run the ball last year though, I can say that Frazier easily has the advantage there.

I don't see Pike being a factor right away and Wallace will probably play another position eventually.

I would like to see a starter named by the end of Spring Practice. It gives that QB the opportunity to step up and be the person who gathers/leads the team during summer workouts. It allows him to build consistant timing routes with the recievers. It allows the rest of the team the chance to see what kind of leader is going to take them into the season.

Unfortunately, with CSL bringing in a new system, he will not have enough time to evaluate all of our QB's ablities before the end of spring. Most of the spring will be used to breakdown what CGM taught them, and start from scratch. IMHO, CGM did a great job building a full throtle, all go, wear them down type of offense (ultimately winning a NC), but he did not help develope a true QB. CSL has a lot of work to do.

In other words, a three year starter isn't always the best thing...

Yeah, and keep in mind UGA was flagged 5 times for late hits, roughing QB during one of those losses. That was brutal
