In the updated TOP247 released Monday, only one player got bumped to 5-star category.
Rashaan Evans was the Alabama squad MVP in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game.
It's a prospect AUC has featured many timse -- Rashaan Evans.
The standout outside linebacker, who plays at nearby Auburn (Ala.) High School, was bumped from the No. 44 spot up to No. 15 in the 247Sports rankings.
The 247Sports rankings team felt like it was a no-brainer.
"He really left no doubt with the way he led his team during the regular season and the kind of impact he had on Friday nights as a pass rusher," said 247Sports national analyst Barton Simmons. "He's a game-changing type defender. And then, he backed that up with an MVP performance in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star game. He's a guy that's as good a pass rusher as anyone in the class. And for him to play in space the way he can, there is no doubt he had to be among the top 15 or 20 players in the class."
Evans arguably is Auburn's top remaining target. He's also considering Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss and UCLA.
Here's a look at how Auburn commits fared in the updated rankings ...
-Tre' Williams, ILB, Mobile (Ala.) St. Paul's Episcopal: Despite being injured for part of the season, Williams showed enough to move from No. 55 to No. 41. Like Evans, he was solid at the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game. Was the second-biggest mover in the top 50 after Evans.
-Racean Thomas, RB, Oxford (Ala.): Saw his rating go from a 96 to a 97, and he jumped 12 spots to No. 49 overall in the rankings after a 2,000-yard season. Was third-biggest mover in the top 50.
-Stanton Truitt, WR, Monroe Area (Ga.): Jumped from a 90 rating to a 92, and moved from outside the Top247 up to No. 227 after a season in which he produced more than 2,500 yards of offense.
-Kalvaraz Bessent, CB, Kingsland (Ga.) Camden County: Moved from No. 65 to No. 61.
-Stephen Roberts, CB-S, Opelika (Ala.) Opelika: Jumped from No. 174 to No. 163.
-Nick Ruffin, CB Safety, Atlanta (Ga.) St. Pius X: Maintained 94 rating, but dropped from No. 146 to No. 150.
-Sean White, QB, Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) University School: Maintained 93 rating but fell eight spots to No. 218.
-Justin Thornton, DE, Vigor (Ala.): Dropped from a 96 to a 95, and fell from No. 66 to No. 126 in the rankings. Concerns about lack of strength and power.
Thomas, Williams, Bessent, Roberts and White will have a chance to improve their stock as each is competing in next week's Under Armour All-America Game in Florida. Evans also is in that game.
Ruffin is competing in the U.S. Army All-American Game.
Thornton will take part in the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl. Truitt was invited to take part in that game, but chose not to attend.
