4-star RB ‘got that feeling’

Don't lose sight of how fluid the roster can be. There may be season-ending injuries to one or more running backs. Some may not pass their exams, some may transfer for an unexpected reason (look at Jay Prosch), some will simply not be as good as expected or get into trouble (Dyer, Pike). Some that we already have "in the bag" may change their mind before signing day.

rivals mods say bryant is at the top of the list

Wilkins was at top of list. Green No. 2 and Bryant No. 3.

A lot of all-purpose backs are smaller guys that can catch the ball well out of the backfield. I think they put Wilkins there because he has such good hands and is so versatile.

Bryan, is there any chance of us trying to convert one of these big RBs into a fullback to back up or succeed Prosch? I think you said we may have some walk-ons fill that role, but it doesn't seem to make too much sense that we have this ridiculous stable of 4 star talent at RB, but only one FB on scholarship. FB isn't a glorious position, but it's a very necessary one in Lefty's offense.

Definitely not. I expect Auburn to try to fill the backup fullback position with walk-ons the next couple of years.
