Three teams remain at the top of the list for 4-star offensive tackle Jordan Sims.
“Auburn is right up there close to the top,” Sims said. “Alabama, Auburn and Ole Miss, that’s it for right now.”
Sims, 6-foot-4 and 325 pounds from Homewood in Birmingham, Ala., enjoyed his second trip to Auburn.
“Today was a great day. I was able to meet with the coaches and see a little more. I learned a lot and got to see what a day in the life of a student athlete is like. I’ve had a lot of fun today.”
Sims is building a great relationship with offensive line coach J.B. Grimes and offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee.
“They are definitely different,” Sims said. “You can tell that they care about the person more than the football standpoint. They are really straight-forward and honest with me.”
Sims has over 10 offers including Auburn, Alabama, Florida and Ole Miss. He plans to return to Auburn in July and make a decision before his senior season of football.
Sims is the nation’s No. 5 offensive guard and No. 83 overall prospect in the 2014 class by 247Sports.
