He could end up being one of those in-state guys who is taken for granted until its too late, then offered.
We have seen that at least once the last two or three years.

Cunningham had his chance, waited too long and lost it. Going with Foster’s offer didn’t work out for us either but that happens. The coaches know what they are doing and sometimes you gamble a little more for the possibility of a bigger payout. Lol at having his chance and waiting to long.
He never should have been turned away in the first place. We left around 3 scholarships on the board.

Because the coaches know what they are doing and who they are looking for. You just don't offer a kid because he likes you. The recruiting process is more than just "He likes us. We should offer." There are a lot of kids out there to evaluate.
